At least that\’s what they say. At least that\’s what parents tell their children to come back to in their old age. After all, we need to build a little sentiment and nostalgia. Anyway, it\’s interesting to see how travel changes a person. You gain a lot of new experiences, acquaintances. But you also lose your roots. While some people never leave their hometown in their lives, others travel around the world and some idea of home ceases to exist for them. Home is where they lay their heads. On the one hand, it\’s incredibly admirable, it\’s not a life for everyone. On the other hand, such people don\’t have a home where they really feel at home. If they stay in the Czech Republic, they will always be called abroad. And it\’s hard to find a home abroad if you have one functioning in the Czech Republic. Even though you will have C2 in almost every language, you will always be glad to hear Czech.
It\’s not quite the same
You\’re in a foreign country, hearing a foreign language, seeing a different world. And that\’s how you perceive it. It\’s not “home” and it\’s not home out there. Suddenly you find yourself in a kind of collision and you\’re trying to kind of satisfy all your desires. A real adventurer doesn\’t stay at home, so if you\’re homesick, you\’re not going to be that much of a vagabond.
Sometimes it\’s hard to stay in one place
If you\’re used to constantly traveling and being transported somewhere from a young age, the transition to living in one place permanently can be quite a shock. Suddenly there\’s no excitement, no new surroundings, just the same old thing. Of course, most people love it, it\’s something different after all. Then again, there are those who will miss something. But such people are the best, because they try to bring a little of that worldliness here, in our humble circumstances. And that\’s what\’s best about it all. We improve ourselves with our own experience. When you see how good they are abroad, you want to do the same here. That\’s why we are creating restaurants, cafes, services and productions that are as authentic as possible and that are characteristic of another region.
